Rakim performs after 10 years on NPR Tiny Desk with The Midnight Hour

History was made at the NPR Music headquarters win D.C. with legends Rakim The God M.C., Ali Shaheed Muhammad from A Tribe Called Quest, and well renown music composer Adrian Younge.

Rakim hasn’t made music in nearly over a decade, and with the release of Marvel’s Luke Cage season 2, we bring to you, ‘King’s Paradise’. This track was made by our newest group, The Midnight Hour, alongside Rakim the Allah, paying homage to the heroes of the Harlem Renaissance as well as its fictional character, the bulletproof Luke Cage.
